ABOUT THE CHURCHILL SOCIETY OF PENNSYLVANIA
The Churchill Society of Pennsylvania (CSP) is the official PA chapter of the International Churchill Society (ICS).
The ICS was founded in 1968 shortly after Churchill’s death and is the world’s preeminent member organization dedicated to preserving Churchill’s historic legacy. The Churchill Society of Pennsylvania works in concert with the ICS to educate Pennsylvanians about the timeless lessons of leadership of the 20th Century’s greatest statesman, Winston Churchill.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT CHURCHILL
Among other things, Churchill was a brilliant orator, Nobel prize-winning author, reporter, painter, thinker, soldier, military strategist, war hero, historian, politician, constitutionalist, statesman, and leader. When the free world faced its darkest hour, he drew upon all of these skills and life experiences to defend liberty and western civilization. He confronted and fought the most monstrous of tyrannies and vanquished them. We at the CSP believe the study of the life and times of Churchill can enlighten and guide us on how to think about and understand the challenges of today.

“What is the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone?”
– Winston Churchill, October 10, 1908
